Weekly Classes for August
Dublin
5:15-6:30 PM Monday evenings. Note: This class has five classes for the month of August. This class is for Dublin students who are working on fast hard shoe and learning slow.
Belfast
Monday Nights 6:30-8:30 PM Note: This is a two hour class and there are five classes in August.
Derry/Donegal
6:30 PM- 7:45 PM Wednesday nights. This class is intended for students who have mastered slow hard shoe and are competing in slow TJ and Hornpipe.
Workshops
Two Hand/Three Hands
This class will be for two weeks. Saturday morning August 8th and August 15th from 8:30-9:30. This class is for students interested in learning two and three hands to compete in or just for fun. Be sure to have a partner(s) before signing up and they fit in the same age group.
Slow Hard Shoe Feis Prep
This class will be for two weeks. Saturday morning August 8th and 15th from 9:30-11:00.This class is for students who are competing at Prize Winner level and up and know slow hornpipe and treble jig. ALL soft and hard shoe dances will be performed and practiced like they are at a feis.
Fast Hard Shoe Feis Prep
This class will be for two weeks. Saturday morning August 8th and 15th from 9:30-11:00.This class is for students who are competing at the Beginner or Novice level and know fast hornpipe and treble jig. ALL soft and hard shoe dances will be performed and practiced like they are at a feis.
Mock Feis Practice.
This will be a one time class. Saturday morning August 22nd from 9:30-11:30. This is for all level dancers and we are going to be running a practice feis through all levels of dancers. They will be working in a studio with teachers warming up their steps and working on drills. They will then line up,based on level, and compete like they would at the feis. We say "practice" because they following week we will allow parents to come and watch.
MOCK FEIS WITH AUDIENCE
This will be a one time class. Saturday morning August 29th from 9:30-11:30. This is for all level dancers and we are going to be running a practice feis through all levels of dancers. They will be working in a studio with teachers warming up their steps and working on drills. They will then line up,based on level, and compete like they would at the feis. We open the studio up for parents to come observe what the mini feis would look like. We ask that it is limited to just parents as it is not a presentation/show. Note: Time may run later than scheduled.
