It is overwhelming with how much is going on these days at Craoi na Tire.  Shannon and I met last night and worked on so many projects.  The big news is that we are launching a new "Wee Ones" Program for our 3 year olds and young 4s.  We have  a lot of siblings and cousins who are anxious to get started.  We have designed the program to be interactive story-telling and games to teach the dance moves.  The program includes absolutely darling costumes and the kids will perform on St. Patrick's Day.  So excited about this.  

We are finalizing plans for our own St. Patrick's Day party and can't wait to share details about that.   
And, we are trying to finalize plans on an adult St. Patrick's Day class that will be held at a local Irish Pub.  FUN!  
So much to to, but it's all so exciting.  
2012 is going to be a great year.  Happy New Year!

Wow.  I can't believe that December is here and the Christmas rush has begun.  I wanted to go over some things upcoming and make sure we don't miss anything.  

First of all, Congratulations to Dan Beeman and Samantha Casey on their performance at the Midwest Oireachtas.  This is a prestigious event that kids have to qualify in order to attend.  When they compete, they recall a percentage to do their third round (1/2) and those children get to dance their set dance and are awarded.  Both Dan and Samantha were recalled and awarded.  Samantha is running at 5 straight years of competing and recalling at this event.  Dan Beeman recalled and qualified for the World Championships to be held in Belfast, Northern Ireland this April.  Congratulations to both Dan and Samantha.  Way to go!!!

For those planning on going to Disney 2012, please make sure to get your deposits in.  The American Celtic Irish Dance Festival will handle all travel bookings.  Online reservations should be open soon for that.  In the meantime, you can call the travel agent for this trip sent in an email.  If you need that number, please let us know.  

We have added things to the web page and will continue to do so, so check back frequently.  Message boards and steps are the 2 newer things along with an online store.  We are doing orders for Christmas delivery so get them in if you want any Craoi na Tire wear.  We have new logos and designs which is very exciting.  

Please make sure your children are dressing warm coming in and out of class.  It is cold now and I cringe when I see nice warmed up dancers leave in shorts.

Welcome to our new web site.  It has been a long time coming and we think this format will offer new inter-active tools to help our current students as well as prospective students and performance clients.  It is a work in progress so keep visiting to see new updates.  Thanks for visiting.
